This scene is the bathroom scene. We have decided we might use abit of this however we still need to add the villain coming in behind her.
Our group found this footage quite useful as it shows her surroundings and her walking into her home quite well. However, we could still see the tripod and part of the film crew in the shot so we may decide to re-shoot this.
We couldn't use this clip as we noticed that the box actually looked like a smiley face! We're not making a comedy, we're making a horror! However, it was still a very good point of view shot. We may re-shoot this but use another box (without a smiley face). Aswell as this, the mise-en-scene in this shot wasn't quite right. When the box is placed on the ground, we can see that there are already shoes (including my little brothers), on the floor. We have to consider this when re-shooting this scene.
We are definitely considering keeping this clip as it creates a paranormal atmosphere. We used a string on the door to pull it to make it look like there was a ghostly villain in the house.
