This is our initial video which we took of Casey walking in with boxes into the house. Our mistake was that the tripod and people standing in the shot. So we decided to re-shoot this scene and make it more effective. We have to consider the mise-en-scene in all of our scenes to make it more of a horror.

In this scene, we have Casey sending a text about the dream she had the night before. After feedback from teachers, we were able to realise that the phone was too slanted and in order for the audience to be able to see the text message, they would have to tilt their head completely. When we re-shot this, I had an idea to make the phone focused and the background blurred. This draws much more attention to the phone and excludes everything that's going on around. The only thing we felt like we were missing out were the red nails which represented the danger she was in but the shot is still much more effective.
